
You gotta see this photo at a larger size, so click on it to zoom in. Saturday night was opera at Lorin Mazzel's place, great entertainment to say the least. Sunday Marshall and I went on a hike up Old Rag Mountain and Robinson, the later being even higher in elevation, so I'm a bit tired this morning. The leaves up on the peaks were just about perfect, as you can see from the photo above. This coming weekend is the annual trip down to Bridge Day on the New River Gorge, can't wait!

I am convinced that fall is a season that only becomes magical when in the east coast of the USA, or more specifically in Rappahannock.
