The Remains of August

The weather could not have been better this weekend, not to mention it was a full moon. Hiking around the Shenandoah National Park and rock climbing on Old Rag took up most of my weekend. Saturday night we had a few people over to the new cabin. We raided the garden by moonlight and put red onion, garlic, carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers, rosemary, and a few other items in a tin foil wrap and let it sizzle on hot coals for an hour or so while we soaked in the cool summer night. Sunday was more Old Rag, coming across three bears before we got back to the car. The rest of the day was walking around Winchester and running a few errands.
