Between a Snow and a Fog

Cranberry Chicken at Millwood Friday. JMU. Then it was White Oak Falls from the Drive down. The Falls, pictured above, crushed down the rocks with a freezing fury. L'Italia. The rest of Saturday was just details in between dinner and dawn. One of the most beautiful sunrise drives in recent memory. Weaving down the backroads of the big WV with a vista that reminded me of nothing. It was perfect. Snowshoe at dawn. Skiing all day long. Freezing Fog, Snow Foxes. Cold Pops in the Lodge. Dinner in Franklin. The remains of the day filter through my mind at 115 down 231.
