back in the saddle

this weekend was memorable. friday i got off work around three and got home before ivan hit. upon arriving home i quickly decided the best avaible option was to nap without delay. i awoke about an hour later becasue purcellville was floating away. the rain was crazy, some of the worst flash flood material i've ever witnessed. tornadoes touched down all over the county, the power went out, and lessburg airport was stuck by a firey bolt of lightning and set ablaze. was the ninth gate of hell opened? , prob. on a lighter note, marshall came home from work and we drove over to magnolia's to satisfy our thirst for the troeganator. so three of those later and a big burger we rolled to food lion and got a sixer. had a pipe and a few brews while talking abou the week's happenings. which brings me to my next point, how the hell do you find a girl in this town? damn, i gotta raise the bar or something. cause i'm ten seconds from impact and my eject button is jammed. anyways saturday morning i went to rapp for the woodville picnic. the drive in was very beautiful. the picnic was cancelled. mom, katie, and i went on a hike up white oak canyon. i had to carry mom and katie across the river at the trail head, it was cool, but a little scary cause the current was pimpin. the falls were spendaculor, never seen them that roarin'. well i hungout at the house and soaked in a little millwood, had grilled salmon for dinner, which is nice. then marshall swung by to head to c-peper to get his hair cut, but the hair cutting place was closed, HA! so we went up on the drive and it was cold so i came home and went to bed. next day: i headed back to purcellville after a morning stroll. the rest of the weekend was quite uneventfull.

-so the work-week ends and then again begins again. (ha i bet no one knows where that came from)
