I'm Back

I've been off the grid for awhile... heres some photos from the last couple months, trying to catch up. Moved out of Winchester. Switched jobs. Went down to Puerto Rico. Moved into and fixed up a house with a great view of Old Rag. Went on some hikes. Yada yada yada.

Passage Creek

Well its been awhile since I've posted something on here... I need to get back in the groove. I moved out of Winchester to Rappahannock for awhile. Hence the lazy posting, internet out here isn't quite the same as I have been used to. These photos were taking this morning at Passage Creek, near Front Royal. I'll be going out to Old Rag in a few days so I'll have some more leaf photos to put up on here.

Floyd Fest and WV Flying

This weekend started with a ride on my Triumph down to Charlottesville to meet up with William Walter and crew. We loaded up the band's gear and set sail down I-81 bound for glory at Floyd Fest on the Blue Ridge Parkway just down from Virginia Tech in SoVA. Three days of great music and great people in what must be the most enjoyable music festival in the States. It was hot and it was cool, the dust mounted and blue ridge breezes blew. Music radiated from the stages over the fans and cast into the skies sweeping over the valleys far below. William Walter & Co. gave the performances their fans have come to expect and then some. The crowds roared as Tucker's guitar solos washed into their ears; slow at first then rising like a storm tide until t-shirts flew and free cd's were cast into the audience in a crescendo of showmanship that only C-ville's best could deliver. After the last note of the festival faded into the mountain air, karie and I packed up and made the long journey back to home; Rappahannock. Monday I rented a plane in Winchester and with Steve behind the stick and Chad and Jeremy in the back seat we left the runway on a course to Seneca Rocks.
